Crude Oil WTI Futures Discussions

London needs to put this bastard down
Yes, well let’s see it then! Can you make the call and make it happen Nat? Lol
Price needs to break short term R 78.25 - 78.40 to continue up and 78 - 77.70 to continue down towards the levels mentioned in yesterday’s analysis.
I meant EU, not US
Interestingly gasoline pumped up yesterday and didn't react to the oil price fall. The imbalance I was mentioning before is closing, but not via a drop in crude price as expected, but an increase in gasoline price itself. Despite the stock builds..
Stop falling! The US must buy the very top first.
The petrodollar’s expiration could weaken the U.S. dollar and, by extension, the U.S. financial markets. If oil were to be priced in a currency other than the dollar, it could lead to a decline in global demand for the greenback. This, in turn, could result in higher inflation, higher interest rates, and a weaker bond market in the United States.
Still most will continue using USD for oil transactions. Moving from using USD will be slow. Besides BRICS already started using other currencies before the expiration. Trade in Crude Petroleum represents 6.13% of total world trade.
So in simple terms if the dollar weakened and we trade WTI which is still traded in dollars, the price of oil should go up, not down. But obviously don’t expect any of that to be reflected on the price in the short term.
I think London going to sell it to 77.50- 77
Today down trend??
Very strange moves. $1 drop after the pit close on small volumes and then a strong bounce by Asia. Unusual.
