Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which rose 4.24% or 18.2 points to trade at 447.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 0.86% or 5.0 points to end at 586.0 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 0.75% or 4.0 points to 536.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA), which fell 1.41% or 1.20 points to trade at 83.70 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) declined 0.69% or 0.35 points to end at 50.25 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 0.64% or 2.1 points to 324.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 74 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.83% or 0.50 to $60.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.88% or 0.56 to hit $64.44 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.98% or 23.30 to trade at $1200.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.5418, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4615.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.45% at 94.05.
