When moving into a home or redecorating a room, many of us look to Ikea for inspiration and the pieces we need to bring our dreams to fruition. Not only does the Swedish company pride itself on good design, but most of the products are affordable. However, there are some that feel Ikea furniture can be generic.
That being said, the naysayers clearly haven’t seen the jaw-dropping hacks that can totally transform simple Ikea pieces into eye-catching features at a fraction of the cost. From cozy reading nooks to drool-worthy kitchen islands that would turn Bed, Bath & Beyond green with envy, the possibilities are endless – and cheap.
