Funny that people post PEs and yet dont know anything apparently. AMD is still having to account for xilinx amortizations running (2.260bn in 2024). The money is not really gone but missing in GAAP PE calculations and rendering the gaap pretty much useless and not compareable to other companies. Let alone 2.3bn in amortizations would already equal a PE of 112. But hey who am I talking to anyway.

No, the people that think AMD grows forever are the clueless ones. AMD has dropped 40%+ from the highs 6 times since I started buying the stock. It ALWAYS goes up, then comes down, however, with higher highs and higher lows. It never goes up and keeps on going up.
But okay i'm sorry. YES the people that post AMD PE 233 are clueless.
NVIDIA PE : 74, AMD PE: 233. You know who will rule for the next decade. Case closed.

Nasdaq is really high btw... A long way to drop when it starts dropping. High from 15 mins all the way to 4hr chart. Day chart still not the highest but 95% there. So care guys.

John, today I bought in at 160.33 at 9:29 EST. Sold at 162.30. And started shorting at $162.50. And bought back my shorts at $160.19 at 9:39EST. Already made $4 today =). I think it'll drop lower. But pretty happy with my morning already. Made 4 figures in 10 mins hehe. I might have made more than $10 this week, maybe $15. Not sure. Not adding my wins one by one..

lol John. The last time I bought at 165.60 I sold at 168 something last Friday. I made some shorts and longs these week and were 100% win rate so far (knock on wood). So far this week I've made about $10 already =). So no, quite happy with my week so far.
Broadcom up by 14% and about 50% this year itself however AMD is bit of frustrating.
I’m invested here for past 16 months, accumulated at 90 through 118, and got double in February however since it dropped back just range bound between 150-172 however all AI stocks up by 40% from there since it falls back. Sounds like its died or it may open one day at $250-280 or $50-70. Nothing sounds bright and promising unless they unveil new chip compatible with NVIDIA
I got into AMD end of 2018, went full time in 2020 and trading exclusively on AMD since 2021. It will always go up, and it will always go down. It will highly likely go back to 190's within 1 year. So if you want to hold longs don't worry too much about it. Next time it will probably go to 250 or above. But more likely in 2 years. Saw it went from 19 to 30's, drop back to 20's, then go to 50's, drop back to 35, then rise to 160, drop back to $55, then go up to $227, drop back to 140's and then now. So it will always go higher highs and higher low's if you wait a couple of years.
But anyway, this time it wont go to 50-70's. Last time I called 50's from when it was $160's. This time I'm not. Lowest it can go is close to $100
this time it could go over $300 in short period of time since market waiting for one positive quarter and commentry on guidance

I believe for bull run to start with this stock, it has consolidated between 146-172 for a while now, and ready for the next level over $230 soon.
There's a strong resistance at 190s and 200 so Not likely to get past that this time.

Shorted to $158.20 and then bought longs 157.90 and 157.30. Should at least go to 160.0. There's pressure there, need to check price action around there.
Could go back to 146.40 maybe
Might have a buying opportunity 157.90 tomorrow.
