The MBA now estimates there are still 2.2 million homeowners in some form of forbearance plan, and while a great number have exited and continued to perform, the remaining population is showing a need for additional support. “More than 47% of borrowers in forbearance extensions are past the 12-month mark as of the end of April,” said Fratantoni. “Many homeowners continue to struggle and are falling farther behind on their obligations each month.”

They saw it and knew it, but didnt announce their views (as usual) because they are always trying to soften the crash to deflate slowly. Sudden huge crash reflect bad image and impacts many things I think.

Stock market is much higher now then in 2007-2008 and the FED rescued the economy at this time, so we saw a historic bull market till Corona Crash. Inflation will be transitory. Better inflation then deflation :)

So, there are jobs. Now either Fed lied Friday or we got other problems like say generous employment benefits taking toll or wages too low or take your pick.

Danke Glocke, the rates are rising despite correction in stock market. Why do you think that people are not buying bonds even though the risks are far lower than DOW Jones stocks and they could make some money instead of keeping cash? is the inflation really significant to supress the bond prices?

I think Danke doesn't comment any more. He's been very quiet. I'd like to know his thoughts on this. From what I see just looks like there's too much supply and fed is stepping in to buy to keep the rates down because the alternative is armageddon

Dave Jones  unless the FED confirm this month they’ll commence Taper Talks; they’ll drive the US into Hyperinflation!! They’ve always maintained from day 1, they’ll not create the Tsunami though they’ll react to it when it happens… we are Bid US10YR till 2.2
