Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Electricity, Textile & Leather and Sports sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were ODAS Elektrik Uretim Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:ODAS), which rose 7.96% or 0.390 points to trade at 5.290 at the close. Meanwhile, Global Yatirim Holding AS (IS:GLYHO) added 4.18% or 0.120 points to end at 2.990 and Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS (IS:GSRAY) was up 3.53% or 1.00 points to 29.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ayen Enerji AS (IS:AYEN), which fell 2.73% or 0.120 points to trade at 4.280 at the close. Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS) declined 2.50% or 0.010 points to end at 0.390 and Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:PRKME) was down 1.59% or 0.050 points to 3.090.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 198 to 142 and 67 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.08% or 0.99 to $1267.11 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.82% or 0.41 to hit $50.21 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.70% or 0.37 to trade at $52.88 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.05% to 3.5774, while EUR/TRY fell 0.01% to 4.0006.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 97.29.
