Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Transport and Wood, Paper & Printing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS), which rose 19.44% or 0.070 points to trade at 0.430 at the close. Meanwhile, Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS:CLEBI) added 13.64% or 4.38 points to end at 36.48 and Kiler Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:KLGYO) was up 7.50% or 0.150 points to 2.150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Soda Sanayi AS (IS:SODA), which fell 6.34% or 0.410 points to trade at 6.060 at the close. Trakya Cam Sanayi AS (IS:TRKCM) declined 3.57% or 0.150 points to end at 4.050 and Ulker Biskuvi Sanayi AS (IS:ULKER) was down 3.07% or 0.57 points to 18.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 267 to 94 and 46 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.48% or 6.10 to $1262.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 3.07% or 2.09 to hit $70.17 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 1.90% or 1.42 to trade at $75.97 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 1.38% to 4.6174, while EUR/TRY fell 1.66% to 5.3916.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.18.
