Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms, Services and Food & Beverages sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Global Yatirim Holding AS (IS:GLYHO), which rose 8.15% or 0.330 points to trade at 4.380 at the close. Meanwhile, Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS ORD (IS:TCELL) added 4.65% or 0.70 points to end at 15.75 and Erbosan Erciyas Boru Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:ERBOS) was up 4.44% or 3.95 points to 93.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:PGSUS), which fell 1.80% or 0.620 points to trade at 33.820 at the close. Deva Holding AS (IS:DEVA) declined 1.80% or 0.080 points to end at 4.370 and Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS:CLEBI) was down 1.69% or 0.62 points to 35.96.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 214 to 140 and 51 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.72% or 9.70 to $1329.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.42% or 0.27 to hit $63.70 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.58% or 0.40 to trade at $68.98 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 1.31% to 3.7691, while EUR/TRY fell 0.88% to 4.6162.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 90.36.
