BEIJING (Reuters) - Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) Shanghai has sued a Chinese firm over tech secret infringement and unfair competition disputes, Shanghai Securities Journal reported on Tuesday.

The lawsuit against Bingling Intelligent Technology, a chip designer and auto parts maker based in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, will be heard in the Shanghai intellectual property court on October 10, according to the report.

A investment fund unit of Xiaomi (OTC:XIACF) owns 11.9% of Bingling, the report said, citing Chinese business data platform Tianyancha.

that is not true. China already has operational hyper sonic missiles can strike land targets and ships, while the US still doesn't have an operational hyper sonic weapon as of right now

Nan Ma   Ten regular missiles can cost the same as 1 hypersonic missile.  An hypersonic missile is only economical for use on a high-value target that's well-defended with air defense systems.  Even then, a multitude of regular missiles and decoys may be a better choice.  And US decades-old ballistic missiles are already hypersonic.

Nan Ma   "In the 1950s and 1960s, a variety of experimental scramjet engines were built and ground tested in the US and the UK." -- wikipedia.  Not China, which was busy going full commie and doing the Cultural Revolution to come up with tech.

Nan Ma   The US chose not to mass produce hypersonic missiles due to high costs and lack of need, not due to lack of tech.  But now the US Army is months away from fielding the LRHW.

Not surprising. They only reason they let foreign companies operate in China is so they can steal intellectual property. Tesla needs to migrate to other Far East countries like India, Vietnam, South Korea and Indonesia with a goal of producing less that 10% of its cars in China.
