Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.38% or 0.49 points to trade at 35.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) fell 0.04% or 0.10 points to end at 266.90 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 0.10% or 0.10 points to 102.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which fell 2.83% or 3.74 points to trade at 128.56 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 2.40% or 5.5 points to end at 223.5 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 2.32% or 0.84 points to 35.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 403 to 285 and 71 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.40% or 5.5 to 223.5.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.67% or 0.34 to $50.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.64% or 0.34 to hit $53.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.80 to trade at $1255.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.11% to 9.5529, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 8.9635.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 100.46.
