Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 1.42% or 0.9 points to trade at 64.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 0.57% or 5.5 points to end at 969.5 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 0.46% or 0.8 points to 174.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 5.51% or 11.7 points to trade at 200.5 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 4.02% or 9.40 points to end at 224.50 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 3.51% or 1.34 points to 36.79.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 528 to 181 and 79 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.51% or 11.7 to 200.5.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.47% or 0.21 to $44.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.17% or 0.08 to hit $46.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.58% or 20.11 to trade at $1255.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 9.7588, while USD/SEK rose 0.60% to 8.7556.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 97.48.
