Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which rose 1.08% or 1.20 points to trade at 112.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.42% or 1.00 points to end at 239.50 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 0.36% or 0.11 points to 30.63 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which fell 2.27% or 3.25 points to trade at 139.85 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.12% or 5.8 points to end at 267.5 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 1.98% or 4.2 points to 207.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 537 to 181 and 72 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.08% or 1.20 to 112.30. Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) rose to 52-week lows; rising 0.36% or 0.11 to 30.63.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.86% or 0.42 to $49.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.79% or 0.41 to hit $52.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.04 to trade at $1256.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 9.7705, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 8.7757.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 97.43.
