Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 4.43% or 8.1 points to trade at 191.0 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 3.62% or 1.53 points to end at 43.75 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 3.13% or 6.6 points to 217.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 9.01% or 15.0 points to trade at 151.5 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) declined 7.00% or 20.8 points to end at 276.5 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was down 6.86% or 22.9 points to 311.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 370 to 343 and 92 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) rose to all time highs; up 4.43% or 8.1 to 191.0. Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.62% or 1.53 to 43.75.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.64% or 0.30 to $46.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.45% or 0.22 to hit $48.69 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.95 to trade at $1233.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.04% to 9.5238, while USD/SEK fell 0.01% to 8.3022.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.96.
