Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.03% or 2.8 points to trade at 273.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.62% or 1.50 points to end at 243.60 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.51% or 1.10 points to 216.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (BS:KINVBs), which fell 3.12% or 7.8 points to trade at 242.3 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 2.21% or 4.2 points to end at 185.5 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 1.52% or 3.3 points to 213.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 380 to 334 and 66 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.37% or 0.65 to $47.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.37% or 0.69 to hit $50.91 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.05 to trade at $1223.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.43% to 9.6552, while USD/SEK fell 0.46% to 8.8818.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 99.47.
