Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.35% or 3.60 points to trade at 270.50 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.06% or 2.2 points to end at 210.2 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (BS:KINVBs) was up 1.01% or 2.4 points to 240.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 2.22% or 20.0 points to trade at 879.5 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) declined 1.48% or 0.55 points to end at 36.55 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 1.08% or 1.10 points to 101.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 369 to 298 and 91 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.47% or 0.74 to $50.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.73% or 0.92 to hit $54.04 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1257.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.47% to 9.6000, while USD/SEK rose 0.55% to 9.0042.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.50.
