Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 1.88% or 5.5 points to trade at 297.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 1.46% or 13.5 points to end at 938.0 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 1.27% or 2.4 points to 191.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 4.05% or 1.61 points to trade at 38.15 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (BS:KINVBs) declined 3.86% or 9.6 points to end at 239.1 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was down 2.14% or 6.4 points to 292.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 360 to 331 and 82 ended unchanged.
Shares in AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.27% or 2.4 to 191.2.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.40% or 1.19 to $48.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.29% or 1.20 to hit $51.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1266.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.63% to 9.6141, while USD/SEK rose 1.01% to 8.8509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 99.12.
