Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.34% or 3.20 points to trade at 242.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 1.18% or 2.00 points to end at 171.60 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 0.64% or 3.5 points to 552.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 5.92% or 5.55 points to trade at 88.25 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.06% or 5.7 points to end at 270.7 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 1.27% or 0.48 points to 37.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 352 to 342 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.49% or 1.60 to $47.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.20% or 1.56 to hit $50.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 5.91 to trade at $1222.01 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.27% to 9.6926, while USD/SEK rose 0.30% to 8.9159.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 99.44.
