Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 2.01% or 4.60 points to trade at 233.60 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.85% or 0.74 points to end at 40.84 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.01% or 0.62 points to 62.17 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 1.55% or 2.50 points to trade at 158.80 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.32% or 7.5 points to end at 559.5 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 1.17% or 3.3 points to 279.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 442 to 263 and 81 ended unchanged.
Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.85% or 0.74 to 40.84.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.71% or 0.76 to $45.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.64% or 0.77 to hit $47.65 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.21 to trade at $1213.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.21% to 9.6283, while USD/SEK fell 0.05% to 8.4242.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 95.73.
