Stock market today: S&P 500 in weekly loss as trade war fears intensifyy
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 3.57% or 16.80 points to trade at 485.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 1.33% or 0.08 points to end at 6.39 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 0.81% or 0.80 points to 94.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 4.01% or 12.00 points to trade at 287.30 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 2.57% or 3.50 points to end at 130.80 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 2.18% or 4.10 points to 183.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 481 to 269 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.31% or 1.62 to $71.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.34% or 1.71 to hit $74.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 19.45 to trade at $3,397.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.10% to 10.95, while USD/SEK rose 0.11% to 9.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 97.94.
