Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 4.00% or 1.70 points to trade at 43.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 3.26% or 9.80 points to end at 310.40 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 3.01% or 4.40 points to 149.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 3.92% or 15.00 points to trade at 367.30 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 3.24% or 2.50 points to end at 75.90 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 2.33% or 13.20 points to 552.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 514 to 263 and 62 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.95% or 0.64 to $66.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.01% or 0.71 to hit $69.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 13.79 to trade at $2,900.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.49% to 10.96, while USD/SEK rose 0.38% to 10.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 103.91.
