Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 0.95% or 0.42 points to trade at 44.40 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 0.29% or 0.5 points to end at 170.7 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 0.29% or 0.5 points to 173.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.46% or 0.82 points to trade at 55.23 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.30% or 14.0 points to end at 1066.0 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was down 1.21% or 2.90 points to 237.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 315 to 292 and 63 ended unchanged.
Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.95% or 0.42 to 44.40.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.21% or 0.12 to $58.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.18% or 0.12 to hit $65.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.90 to trade at $1278.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.56% to 9.8944, while USD/SEK fell 0.32% to 8.3537.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 92.98.
