Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 5.58% or 1.38 points to trade at 26.11 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 1.80% or 8.20 points to end at 462.20 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.25% or 1.06 points to 85.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 2.80% or 1.20 points to trade at 41.00 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 1.96% or 0.11 points to end at 5.29 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was down 1.87% or 1.20 points to 64.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 437 to 322 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.40% or 0.25 to $61.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.41% or 0.27 to hit $65.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 28.70 to trade at $3,313.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.31% to 10.83, while USD/SEK fell 0.84% to 9.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 99.36.
