Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which rose 1.47% or 4.60 points to trade at 316.90 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 0.82% or 1.40 points to end at 172.80 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.67% or 0.22 points to 32.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which fell 4.35% or 1.39 points to trade at 30.54 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 2.01% or 20.50 points to end at 998.00 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was down 1.71% or 1.70 points to 98.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 422 to 350 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.10% or 0.75 to $68.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.08% or 0.77 to hit $72.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 11.45 to trade at $2,656.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.36% to 11.30, while USD/SEK rose 0.54% to 10.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 100.36.
