TSMC Q2 profit soars 61% to record high; sees AI demand offsetting forex headwinds
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 4.27% or 0.26 points to trade at 6.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 3.89% or 2.30 points to end at 61.40 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 1.06% or 1.50 points to 138.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 7.18% or 36.70 points to trade at 474.70 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.13% or 6.60 points to end at 303.10 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was down 1.23% or 0.32 points to 25.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 348 to 332 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.45% or 0.29 to $64.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.41% or 0.27 to hit $66.74 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.90 to trade at $3,349.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.09% to 10.96, while USD/SEK fell 0.38% to 9.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 98.93.
