Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 2.29% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 6.05% or 5.05 points to trade at 88.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 4.76% or 6.30 points to end at 138.60 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 3.36% or 4.35 points to 133.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 0.19% or 0.07 points to trade at 35.88 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 0.28% or 1.5 points to end at 536.5 and Getinge AB ser. B (BS:GETIBs) was up 0.51% or 0.8 points to 156.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 416 to 292 and 74 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.83% or 0.41 to $49.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.67% or 0.35 to hit $52.09 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.05% or 13.53 to trade at $1275.57 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.6279, while USD/SEK fell 1.37% to 8.8766.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 99.06.
