Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.64% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which rose 4.01% or 4.20 points to trade at 109.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 3.24% or 5.7 points to end at 181.7 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 2.44% or 3.0 points to 126.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 5.49% or 51.5 points to trade at 886.5 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 2.03% or 0.73 points to end at 35.27 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 1.44% or 4.3 points to 293.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 360 to 331 and 73 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) rose to 3-years highs; rising 3.24% or 5.7 to 181.7.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $49.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $51.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.72 to trade at $1267.62 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.53% to 9.6570, while USD/SEK rose 0.39% to 8.8689.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 98.97.
