Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 2.05% or 3.40 points to trade at 169.60 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.71% or 0.71 points to end at 42.22 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was up 1.32% or 1.40 points to 107.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which fell 6.15% or 12.70 points to trade at 193.80 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.00% or 2.40 points to end at 238.10 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 0.67% or 6.5 points to 966.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 388 to 313 and 94 ended unchanged.
Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.71% or 0.71 to 42.22. Shares in Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.32% or 1.40 to 107.40.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.89% or 0.41 to $46.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.93% or 0.45 to hit $48.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 10.63 to trade at $1227.93 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.16% to 9.5423, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 8.3314.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 95.03.
