Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 2.36% or 5.50 points to trade at 239.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 1.61% or 2.20 points to end at 139.20 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.34% or 4.3 points to 324.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 1.51% or 15.0 points to trade at 979.5 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) declined 1.00% or 0.90 points to end at 89.55 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 0.99% or 2.8 points to 280.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 398 to 313 and 78 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.11% or 0.05 to $45.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.15% or 0.07 to hit $47.99 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.05% or 13.54 to trade at $1279.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.03% to 9.7793, while USD/SEK rose 0.37% to 8.7215.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 96.98.
