Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.26% or 1.15 points to trade at 51.95 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.92% or 9.4 points to end at 497.9 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.34% or 2.2 points to 166.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which fell 5.18% or 7.20 points to trade at 131.80 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.96% or 1.3 points to end at 133.8 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was down 0.75% or 0.38 points to 50.02.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 332 to 262 and 75 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.98% or 1.05 to $51.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.60% or 0.89 to hit $54.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1234.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 9.4763, while USD/SEK rose 0.41% to 8.8629.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 100.31.
