Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 8.05% or 0.27 points to trade at 3.66 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 6.65% or 25.00 points to end at 400.00 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) was up 4.08% or 1.80 points to 45.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 1.49% or 4.80 points to trade at 316.70 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 0.07% or 0.20 points to end at 299.20 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.28% or 0.10 points to 36.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 520 to 228 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.65% or 25.00 to 400.00. Shares in Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.28% or 0.10 to 36.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.14% or 0.76 to $67.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.10% or 0.77 to hit $70.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 8.09 to trade at $2,999.39 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.15% to 11.03, while USD/SEK fell 0.42% to 10.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 103.69.
