Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.51% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 2.26% or 5.5 points to trade at 249.3 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 1.98% or 3.5 points to end at 180.0 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 1.37% or 1.6 points to 118.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 2.48% or 4.40 points to trade at 173.00 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.69% or 0.56 points to end at 32.58 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 0.93% or 0.39 points to 41.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 393 to 336 and 70 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.56% or 0.27 to $48.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.91% or 0.49 to hit $54.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.89 to trade at $1331.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.48% to 9.5304, while USD/SEK fell 0.63% to 7.9619.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 91.84.
