Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 3.20% or 1.20 points to trade at 39.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 2.78% or 7.00 points to end at 258.80 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 2.19% or 6.40 points to 299.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which fell 4.82% or 13.70 points to trade at 270.70 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.20% or 0.96 points to end at 79.24 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 0.87% or 1.30 points to 141.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 412 to 342 and 66 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.10% or 0.06 to $62.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $66.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.40% or 46.19 to trade at $3,340.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 10.92, while USD/SEK fell 0.73% to 9.61.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 99.28.
