Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.19% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 2.25% or 10.10 points to trade at 459.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.39% or 1.95 points to end at 142.00 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 1.36% or 1.75 points to 130.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 2.39% or 1.00 points to trade at 41.20 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 1.96% or 1.60 points to end at 81.80 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 1.23% or 1.80 points to 144.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 418 to 349 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.18% or 0.73 to $62.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.92% or 0.60 to hit $66.01 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.42% or 45.25 to trade at $3,232.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 10.88, while USD/SEK fell 0.72% to 9.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.67% at 100.27.
