Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.14% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 40.46% or 1.62 points to trade at 5.61 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 2.34% or 1.90 points to end at 83.30 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 2.17% or 0.53 points to 24.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 1.64% or 7.10 points to trade at 426.60 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.27% or 3.50 points to end at 272.70 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 1.08% or 14.50 points to 1,322.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 415 to 349 and 65 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.73% or 1.69 to $63.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.42% or 1.57 to hit $66.53 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 33.41 to trade at $3,261.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.02% to 10.87, while USD/SEK fell 0.80% to 9.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 100.93.
