Investing.com – Sri Lanka stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Information Technology, Power & Energy and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share declined 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were Nanda Investments and Finance PLC (CM:NAND), which rose 75.00% or 12.90 points to trade at 30.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Udapussellawa Plantations PLC (CM:UDPL) added 32.16% or 7.30 points to end at 30.00 and Kalamazoo Systems PLC (CM:KZOO) was up 25.00% or 312.50 points to 1562.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PC Pharma PLC (CM:PCPH), which fell 33.33% or 0.1000 points to trade at 0.2000 at the close. Lake House Printers and Publishers PLC (CM:LPRT) declined 6.90% or 10.00 points to end at 135.00 and Property Development PLC (CM:PDL) was down 6.87% or 6.20 points to 84.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 95 to 88 and 58 ended unchanged.

Shares in PC Pharma PLC (CM:PCPH) fell to all time lows; losing 33.33% or 0.1000 to 0.2000. Shares in Udapussellawa Plantations PLC (CM:UDPL) rose to 52-week highs; rising 32.16% or 7.30 to 30.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.74% or 1.31 to $49.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.68% or 1.36 to hit $52.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.46 to trade at $1231.16 a troy ounce.
GBP/LKR was up 0.30% to 197.145, while USD/LKR fell 0.08% to 152.490.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 98.79.
