Investing.com – Sri Lanka stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Plantations, Services and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were SMB Leasing PLC (CM:SEMB), which rose 16.67% or 0.1000 points to trade at 0.7000 at the close. Meanwhile, Kelsey Developments PLC (CM:KDL) added 14.08% or 4.90 points to end at 39.70 and Arpico Insurance Ltd (CM:ARIC) was up 12.71% or 1.50 points to 13.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kalamazoo Systems PLC (CM:KZOO), which fell 15.53% or 134.40 points to trade at 731.20 at the close. Lanka Ashok Leyland PLC (CM:ASHO) declined 11.66% or 139.90 points to end at 1060.10 and Amana Takaful PLC (CM:ATL) was down 11.11% or 0.100 points to 0.800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 66 to 58 and 46 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.73% or 0.35 to $47.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.84% or 0.41 to hit $48.59 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.08% or 0.95 to trade at $1188.35 a troy ounce.
GBP/LKR was down 0.03% to 184.805, while USD/LKR rose 0.02% to 148.445.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.29% at 101.47.
