Grok 4 is here and analyst says ’don’t bet against Elon’
Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financial Services & Real Estate, Building & Construction and Chemical, Petroleum & Plastic sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:SLRS), which rose 12.63% or 1.06 points to trade at 9.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Grifols SA (BME:GRLS) added 4.35% or 0.42 points to end at 10.08 and Laboratorios Farmaceuticos ROVI (BME:ROVI) was up 3.25% or 1.75 points to 55.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indra A (BME:IDR), which fell 4.03% or 1.46 points to trade at 34.76 at the close. Bankinter (BME:BKT) declined 2.19% or 0.25 points to end at 11.14 and Sacyr SA (BME:SCYR) was down 1.96% or 0.07 points to 3.49.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 114 to 85 and 14 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.62% or 20.80 to $3,397.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.12% or 0.71 to hit $62.70 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 1.39% or 0.91 to trade at $64.72 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.46% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 98.71.
