Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 rose 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Caixabank SA (MC:CABK), which rose 3.35% or 0.135 points to trade at 4.169 at the close. Meanwhile, Acciona (MC:ANA) added 2.23% or 1.650 points to end at 75.740 and Arcel. Mittal (MC:MTS) was up 1.96% or 0.139 points to 7.250 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mapfre (MC:MAP), which fell 2.94% or 0.097 points to trade at 3.204 at the close. Indra A (MC:IDR) declined 1.87% or 0.240 points to end at 12.585 and Tecnicas Reunidas (MC:TRE) was down 1.72% or 0.635 points to 36.350.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 103 to 67 and 12 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.16% or 2.00 to $1267.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.06% or 0.03 to hit $49.00 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 0.04% or 0.02 to trade at $51.84 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.22% to 1.0897, while EUR/GBP fell 0.12% to 0.8416.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 98.89.
