Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services & Real Estate, Telecoms & IT and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 rose 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Arcel. Mittal (MC:MTS), which rose 2.13% or 0.148 points to trade at 7.082 at the close. Meanwhile, Bankia (MC:BKIA) added 1.45% or 0.015 points to end at 1.050 and Cellnex Telecom SA (MC:CLNX) was up 1.38% or 0.21 points to 15.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indra A (MC:IDR), which fell 2.24% or 0.275 points to trade at 12.025 at the close. Iberdrola (MC:IBE) declined 1.68% or 0.110 points to end at 6.459 and Enagas (MC:ENAG) was down 1.43% or 0.350 points to 24.150.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 88 to 73 and 25 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.19% or 2.40 to $1281.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $50.85 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.26% or 0.14 to trade at $53.07 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.37% to 1.0751, while EUR/GBP rose 0.04% to 0.8383.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 99.53.
