Wells Fargo: Tesla’s short-term lift doesn’t resolve long-term concerns
Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Consumer Services and Financial Services & Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Merlin Properties SA (BME:MRL), which rose 1.51% or 0.16 points to trade at 10.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Industria de Diseno Textil SA (BME:ITX) added 1.22% or 0.58 points to end at 48.11 and Aena SME SA (BME:AENA) was up 1.08% or 2.60 points to 242.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indra A (BME:IDR), which fell 3.03% or 1.10 points to trade at 35.18 at the close. SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:SLRS) declined 2.25% or 0.20 points to end at 8.69 and ACS Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA (BME:ACS) was down 1.96% or 1.15 points to 57.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 105 to 84 and 22 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.60% or 20.30 to $3,354.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.96% or 1.24 to hit $64.61 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 1.79% or 1.17 to trade at $66.51 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.39% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 99.13.
