Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Financial Services and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which rose 6.69% or 1.90 points to trade at 30.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 6.32% or 2.78 points to end at 46.80 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was up 2.50% or 0.60 points to 24.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 5.75% or 1.15 points to trade at 18.85 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) declined 4.89% or 0.75 points to end at 14.60 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was down 3.89% or 1.10 points to 27.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 20 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.32% or 2.78 to 46.80.
Crude oil for May delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $53.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $55.64 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 11.55 to trade at $1289.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 3.9830, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 100.49.
