Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which rose 10.00% or 3.20 points to trade at 35.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 4.01% or 1.10 points to end at 28.50 and Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320) was up 3.53% or 0.70 points to 20.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 4.71% or 0.95 points to trade at 19.20 at the close. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 3.31% or 0.90 points to end at 26.30 and National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) was down 3.26% or 0.55 points to 16.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 37 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.28% or 0.14 to $49.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $52.08 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 9.18 to trade at $1268.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.0850, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.90.
