Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which rose 3.10% or 0.90 points to trade at 29.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) added 2.95% or 0.46 points to end at 16.06 and Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) was up 2.00% or 0.75 points to 38.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120), which fell 6.71% or 1.14 points to trade at 15.86 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 6.00% or 1.50 points to end at 23.50 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) was down 5.99% or 0.41 points to 6.43.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 147 to 20 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.59% or 0.27 to $45.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.79% or 0.38 to hit $48.24 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 10.05 to trade at $1269.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 4.1996, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 97.24.
