Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.60% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which rose 9.78% or 1.27 points to trade at 14.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) added 9.30% or 0.60 points to end at 7.05 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was up 5.10% or 0.80 points to 16.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Umm Al-Qura (SE:3005), which fell 3.73% or 0.70 points to trade at 18.05 at the close. Halwani Bros (SE:6001) declined 3.41% or 1.50 points to end at 42.50 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) was down 3.36% or 2.50 points to 72.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 122 to 30 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201) rose to all time lows; rising 9.78% or 1.27 to 14.25. Shares in Halwani Bros (SE:6001) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.41% or 1.50 to 42.50. Shares in Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.10% or 0.80 to 16.50.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.67% or 1.70 to $44.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $46.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.23% or 3.15 to trade at $1341.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.2104, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 95.41.
