Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Transport and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.49% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 9.73% or 2.35 points to trade at 26.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 9.59% or 1.65 points to end at 18.85 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 9.56% or 3.50 points to 40.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which fell 8.72% or 1.17 points to trade at 12.25 at the close. Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) declined 6.35% or 1.90 points to end at 28.00 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) was down 4.03% or 0.60 points to 14.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 52 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 4.10% or 1.62 to $41.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.85% or 1.61 to hit $43.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.59% or 8.15 to trade at $1364.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.69% to 4.1807, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 95.51.
