Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150), which rose 9.89% or 1.85 points to trade at 20.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 9.58% or 1.95 points to end at 22.30 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was up 8.42% or 0.80 points to 10.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which fell 3.62% or 1.00 points to trade at 26.60 at the close. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 3.61% or 1.50 points to end at 40.00 and Savola Group (SE:2050) was down 3.49% or 1.40 points to 38.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 97 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.93% or 0.48 to $52.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.95% or 0.52 to hit $54.98 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.63% or 7.45 to trade at $1170.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.0131, while USD/SAR fell 0.09% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 100.61.
