Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Petrochemicals and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.94% or 3.15 points to trade at 34.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (TADAWUL:4342) added 2.85% or 0.36 points to end at 12.98 and Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (TADAWUL:4141) was up 2.68% or 1.90 points to 72.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jabal Omar Development Company (TADAWUL:4250), which fell 5.50% or 1.10 points to trade at 18.90 at the close. Makkah Construction&Development Co (TADAWUL:4100) declined 5.49% or 3.90 points to end at 67.10 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) was down 5.31% or 5.20 points to 92.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 205 to 51 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.94% or 3.15 to 34.85.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.31% or 2.36 to $68.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 3.18% or 2.46 to hit $74.99 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.91% or 17.40 to trade at $1,928.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.61% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.14% at 104.39.
