Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dur Hospitality (SE:4010), which rose 5.00% or 0.88 points to trade at 18.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 2.40% or 1.30 points to end at 55.50 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) was up 1.48% or 0.34 points to 23.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which fell 10.00% or 1.01 points to trade at 9.09 at the close. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 5.25% or 2.90 points to end at 52.30 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) was down 4.91% or 0.80 points to 15.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 33 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) fell to all time lows; down 10.00% or 1.01 to 9.09. Shares in Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.91% or 0.80 to 15.50.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.12% or 0.07 to $56.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $63.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.35 to trade at $1428.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.42% to 4.1855, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 97.317.
