Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Agriculture & Food and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180), which rose 5.31% or 0.60 points to trade at 11.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300) added 3.31% or 0.44 points to end at 13.74 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) was up 3.25% or 0.70 points to 22.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210), which fell 3.03% or 5.00 points to trade at 160.00 at the close. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:1211) declined 2.85% or 1.80 points to end at 61.30 and Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:1050) was down 2.69% or 1.40 points to 50.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 79 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 3.31% or 0.44 to 13.74.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.05% or 1.25 to $119.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.98% or 1.17 to hit $120.68 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 9.35 to trade at $1,853.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.12% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 102.61.
