Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Cement and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (SE:8240), which rose 9.93% or 3.05 points to trade at 33.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 9.87% or 1.36 points to end at 15.14 and Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) was up 6.80% or 3.30 points to 51.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which fell 5.71% or 1.65 points to trade at 27.25 at the close. National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) declined 5.18% or 1.30 points to end at 23.80 and Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) was down 4.01% or 0.92 points to 22.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 106 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 5.25% or 6.50 to $117.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 5.25% or 6.72 to hit $121.26 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 2.36% or 48.20 to trade at $1,995.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.20% to 4.14, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.87% at 98.21.
